Volunteering at the YMCA is rewarding for all involved. Your assistance can come in the form of coaching a sport to taking pictures of our programs and participants or assisting in the office.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Tutor or provide HOMEWORK HELP at one of our seven After School Care locations (even once a week for one hour makes a HUGE difference); 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.; Monday through Thursday. Contact our A.S.C. Director to arrange volunteer time: Emily Roberts: asc@Y4all.org
Coach (you don't have to know much about soccer to coach 3 & 4 year olds...it’s more about following directions, having fun, pointing them toward the correct goal and team work) Sports we offer: Soccer (spring & fall): Flag Football (spring & fall); Volleyball (late spring); Indoor Soccer (winter); Swim Team (ongoing) and more
-OR whatever you have a passion for - we'll create a program for YOU to teach/coach or one for which you can enroll and learn! Etiquette Classes; Ballroom Dance Instruction; Tennis lessons for Youth; we want your ideas, input and interests!

JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
After School Care Staff Applications accepted now.
YMCA ASC runs Monday through Friday, 2:30 - 5:30 during the school year. Our YMCA has ASC in seven elementary schools in the Oconee County School Distict. Applicants must be at least a rising senior in high school. Staff need not be available all week - but a consistent weekly schedule is required (M, W, F or Tue/Thur is fine). Soccer Officiating: Both of our soccer leagues (spring & fall) need soccer referees. Games are Tuesdays & Thursdays, starting at either 5:30 or 6:30 p.m. Ages to be refereed are 7 – 12 years of age. Contact our Program Director for more details.
