Swim Team
New Icon
The Foothills YMCA is partnering with Central Clemson Recreation Center to offer a competitive swim team experience for youth ages 6 – 16.
The Upstate Torpedoes team has three levels – of which the second and third level swimmers are eligible to compete for the team. In order to compete – your swimmer must be a member of the Foothills YMCA (as the swim team will be competing within the Swim Carolina League).
The monthly swim team fee for Foothills YMCA Members is $35/month: made payable to CCRC. The purpose of the Swim Team program is to provide young boys and girls an opportunity to participate in competitive swimming in a fun, safe, and healthy environment.
We strive to help foster skillful aquatic ability, good fellowship, a finer appreciation of swimming for its own sake and not just for winning; and sportsmanship of a high nature. Swim team practices are Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 4:30 – 5:30 at the CCRC

Registration is at the Central/Clemson Rec Center.
